"seed toss" at Arlington Arts Center and more

Hello,

I'm happy to let you know about some things I've been up to:

My solo show "seed toss" is open at the Arlington Arts Center with a reception on Saturday Oct. 20, 6-9 p.m. and an Artist Conversation on Sat. Nov. 10, 4-6 p.m. I'm showing 1000 postcard-drawings, 1000 post-it note drawings and hundreds of little books that viewers can take with them.  I also left drawings and collages in secret spots all over the building.

As part of the show I'm making "seed toss, nameroughquena," a six-part book series of a history of Arlington. I'll publish them bi-weekly during the show - the first one is available now here. See more at seedtoss.com.

I have two ongoing online projects - LADYH8RS, where I've been drawing grotesque portraits of lady-hating public figures and The Endless Summer, Drawn, where I'm drawing every shot in Bruce Brown's 1966 surfing film.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I recently did the album cover design for the new Seamonster album "Baldessari".  You can get the (great) music here (vinyl with my work here) and download a little book I made as liner notes here.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Last spring I had a piece in the great comics anthology Sundays. See and get it here.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The literary journal Phoebe published my version of a Wallace Stevens poem and had me do the cover of their Spring 2012 issue.  You can read the story here and get the issue here.

Thanks,

Warren
